14. Chest Infection

Well this one hurt, no doubt about that, no joking aside it did hurt!I had a long lay-off from the running due to a chest infection, however I must say I did crank out the miles here and wasn’t slow either.Hope you enjoy it, these always sound partially crazy when I listen back to them, let me know.

So I’m back in the saddle after a long break away from recording any of my runs and it felt great to know you were listening. This run felt great, though my legs were tired at points, I banked about 8 miles, do lose the comment fear and let me know you sneaked an earful.

I forget what I was talking about to some degree in this show, although I do recal it being something about social media and contacts, and I recall getting somewhat annoyed at the supposed newness of it all. Anyway it was a loooooooooooooooong run, if you stick with it let me know.

Back into my running after a painful break due to kidney stones at the start of December. After some time I go on to talk about culture, food and some looking forward to 2008. So glad to be back on the streets and to have you listening, enjoy my rants.

09. Slow Paced Jog

A slower paced run than the previous day’s and less to say although probably not really, it just felt that way. Alternative root to the woods, due to rain, was taken, and the cold air felt great in my lungs.

This was a “power run” if that is even a phrase, where I ran a shorter distance than usual, and really cranked on the gas, was almost sprinting near the end. The run was in the rain and I was slightly worried about my recorder geting wet through, but it was ok, the rain cleared. This cast gets pretty vocal I am on a right aggreesive run near the end.

I started off this run talking about eating and getting the timing right with running. As it turns out I broke the rules on that but all worked out fine anyhow. Thanks for the feedback, some friends have been saying they really like these shows, that motivates me too!

This was a long time coming after getting hit with some illness which always prevents a good run. A great run with topics galore and a mini rant at the end. I’ve been humbled recently by the amount of subscribers and listeners, it seems to be spreading with word of mouth, which is great. Thanks for the feedback too, I’ve heard these episodes are motivating.

On this Sunday morning run I start to think about how there are people, who are supposed experts, that do not actually practise what they preach when it comes to extending the conversation, in fact some are downright rude. Others however are experts at it and need celebrating. Good run, felt good.
